Learned recently that a dear friend (like an uncle) of the family has cancer. While he self-admittedly has lived a long full blessed life, he will be missed dearly by family and friends he leaves behind. We learn from him his prognosis when we see him tonight. He has been an anchor of love and encouragement and a safe space for me and my daughters. His transition will leave a gap in our lives. Please pray for him, his family and friends (including myself and my daughters) as we navigate this new stage of his life and ours.
