I come to you with a heavy heart, seeking your prayers and support during a difficult time in my marriage. I have been deeply hurt by my husband’s invalidation, dismissal, and verbal abuse. Yesterday, he shouted at me to shut up in front of a family friend, leaving me feeling humiliated and deeply wounded. I have tried to address these issues with him in the past, but he often deflects blame onto something I have done. I pray earnestly for God’s comfort and healing to ease my pain, even as I strive to forgive him.

Please join me in prayer for my husband’s heart to be touched by the Holy Spirit, convicting him of his wrongdoing and leading him to acknowledge his actions. I also pray for his healing from the insecurity and negative influences that may be driving his hurtful behavior, as he seeks to assert his authority and relevance.
