BIG PRAYER REQUEST – A few events arose this week that prompted me to take in a teen that I’ve been mentoring for the past year. It was a mutual agreement with his mom. The original agreement was for me to take him from Tuesday – Saturday to give her a break and to give her son a break too. There is MAJOR tension between her and her son due to some things that’s happened in the past and after working with the family for a while you can clearly see that she has major resentment against her son which affects the way she treats him. The relationship is filled with anger, rage, verbal abuse.

I feel the lord heavily impressing on my heart to take him (the teen) in for a little while longer. I’ve been overcome with tears every time these thoughts cross my mind because that’s how strong the impression is. He’s been doing SO WELL WITH ME! HE HAS A SMILE ON HIS FACE! HE’S JOYFUL! Just prayer for me and the conversations that will need to be had with him mom to allow this to happen. Pray that the Lord opens doors and closes doors and moves in a mighty way in his life and his moms life. Lastly, prayer for the salvation of her soul and that she turn to the Lord and away from the drugs and alcohol. Because he’s already moving in ways unknown to me.
